Counductivity of substance               

 

The conductivity of substance depends upon its number of free moving electrons . As we all know that H2O means water is neutral charged then some are saying that when it comes in contact of current or electricity it converts into OH- and H+ , the OH ion let the electricity to conduct.  I think that it's wrong because pure water cann't conduct electric current because of impurity of the substance or we can directly say that the minerals present in water in form of impurity , it gives the charge to it .

                                   Copper is the best conductor of because the electrons vibrate and passes the energy. As we all know that the energy travells to a body in three ways :- Conduction , Convection and Radiation. In conduction electron vibrate on there places and pass the energy then it comes convection in this the electrons carry heat to the other electron to pass the energy . after all it comes Radiation in this the energy needs no medium to travel it can travel dirctly from source to the reciever.
